How to Navigate PaintForce

When you are creating, editing, or viewing jobs and estimates, there are four main screens to consider:

  1. Job Overview

  2. Edit Estimate

  3. View Estimate (what your customers sees)

  4. Layout

Customize Your Estimates & Invoices with Your Branding

Before sending your first estimate, you’ll need to add your company’s information and branding.

  1. Go to: Settings → Company Info

    • Enter your company details, which will appear on every estimate and invoice.

    • Upload your company logo.

  2. Go to: Settings → Templates → Estimate Layouts

    • Customize two estimate layouts: Interior and Exterior.

    • Choose a theme that best fits your brand. Modify colors, fonts, and text.

    • Rearrange sections using the "Add Block" button to include text or paint details.

    • Drag and drop sections to reorder them.

    • Click the three dots on each text block to edit its content.

  3. Create New Templates

    • Save layouts that match your business needs for consistent, professional estimates.


Setting Up Estimate Templates

PaintForce allows you to streamline your estimating process by using group templates. This keeps estimates organized and makes them easier to create.

Why Use Estimate Group Templates?

  • Keep estimates structured by room or area.

  • Quickly update dimensions instead of manually adding each item.

  • Save time when creating estimates for similar jobs.

Example Use Cases

  • Exterior Estimates → Select a Sample House (Full Exterior) template and update:

    • Elevation size

    • Number of windows

    • Garage type

    • Porch size

  • Interior Estimates → Organize estimates by room for a structured, easy-to-edit workflow.

How to Save a Group as a Template

  1. In Edit Group, click the three dots in the top-right corner.

  2. Select "Save Group Template" to reuse it in future estimates.
